I’m regularly asked “How do you know about so many sites?” and I regularly answer that it’s quite easy when a good chunk of your work life is spent browsing the web.

An easy way to expand your awareness of quality sites without having to spend hours online each day is to set www.allmyfaves.com as one of your favorites (bookmarks if you use Firefox).   AllMyFaves.com organizes hundreds of the web’s top sites into categories (the tabs across the top) as well as subcategories (the text running down the far left column).

Arrange the logos on the page by popularity or in alphabetical order. Click “Make AllMyFaves your homepage” if you’d like the site to show up automatically each time you go online.  Take a look at the hand-picked “weekly faves” sites, updated each Monday by the AllMyFaves.com staff.

Go on, do a bit of exploring. Click the logos of websites you’ve never visited — or even better, click the logos of websites you’ve never heard of. Have fun while you continually learn more about what the web has to offer.
