Hassle Me!

Posted in: Online Tools

If you don’t have the luxury of living with an always-nagging mom, wife, or girlfriend, listen up, because I’ve just discovered the site for you!

HassleMe.co.uk exists solely to nag you. In a good way. You know, so you’ll get things done. Not making it to the gym enough? Want to update your blog on a more frequent basis? Wish that someone reminded you to eat more veggies? Just head over to www.hassleme.co.uk and enter your e-mail, what you want to be hassled about, and the number of days (roughly) that should elapse between each reminder, and you’re done.

The only instructions on the site read “Tell us what to hassle you about, and we’ll nag you via e-mail at semi-unpredictable intervals.” Give it a shot.

Not Using It? Uninstall It!

Posted in: Computer Tips & Tricks

Here’s a question for you: Why keep software programs on your PC if you never use them, if you never plan to use them in the future, and if it’s easy and quick to remove them? As there’s no logical answer to that question, I’ll just go right ahead and tell you where to find the list of programs installed on your computer so that you can remove the ones you no longer need.

Click on the little green Start button in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen, then click on Control Panel, then choose Add or Remove Programs. Give your computer a moment and it’ll open a new little window populated with a list of programs installed on your machine. Scroll through the list and if you see a program you want to get rid of, just hit the “Change/Remove” button.

It never hurts to do a bit of cleanup on your PC every once in a while - just make sure you don’t go overboard by deleting programs that you’ll someday wish you’d kept around.
