Three Neat Sites of the Week

Posted in: Website Links

Site 1: www.priceprotectr.com — This site makes sure that, whenever you buy an item from a store with a price-protection guarantee, you’re immediately notified if/when a lower price is offered within a certain amount of time so you can obtain your refund. The service is free and extremely easy to use — just follow the steps on the homepage. As I’m writing this sentence, the site is claiming that, to date, it’s saved people a total of $216,806.38 since its launch about five months ago.

Site 2:
www.skrbl.com — This site won’t save the world, but it sure is fun. Write notes, sketch drawings, upload photos and share files — everyone you invite to your “virtual whiteboard” sees the exact same screen you see. Skrbl even provides code that allows you to embed a whiteboard into your website if you’d like.

Site 3:
www.fixya.com — I’m finally free to clean the cabinet where for years I’ve saved all the product manuals I ever came across when opening a new purchase. Fixya.com provides you with support information for just about any consumer product.  Browse by manufacturer, locate a repairman in the area, post a question on the site and receive answers from people who know what they’re talking about. What a lifesaver.
