BugMeNot – what a great site!
Have you ever clicked a link to read an online article only to have a “PLEASE LOGIN OR REGISTER” screen open up? It’s frustrating! Before I learned about bugmenot, this used happened to me rather often, especially when I’d try to access articles located on newspaper websites such as The New York Times.
In a nutshell, the bugmenot service allows you to bypass compulsory web registrations, and though to some the concept may sound a bit dodgy, it’s been recommended by a host of reputable sources, including the New York Times. The best part is that it only takes a couple of easy steps and is simple to use.
Just make note of the website you’re attempting to access, then zoom right on over to www.bugmenot.com and enter the site’s address into the main entry box. Upon clicking the “Show Logins” button, you’re instantly presented with a username and password you can use to access the website you were trying to view before. The account information has already been set up with fake information by someone else and shared with bugmenot - no more unnecessary typing of your personal information. Try it out and tell your friends.
